This page provides links to electronic resources that are available to all SEPT staff, regardless of where you work. If you do not have a SEPT Athens login then register today. If you require any books, articles or literature searches then contact your local NHS library.

ELMS Library Catalogue
To search our stock, request book, journal and evidence search as well as reserving book online.
Request your PIN from the Library. You will need your library membership number (which can be found under the barcode at the back of your library card) to log on as well as your PIN number.

A number of ebooks are available to SEPT Staff only free of charge. These books can be accessed from home, or any PC with an internet connection outside SEPT network with a valid NHS Athens password.

SEPT subscribes to a number of journal titles in print or electronic format.
You can browse the list here by entering your valid SEPT Athens password. This will allow you to check if a particular journal is available from the library to photocopy or read, or online to read or download an article.
Alternatively, if you don't have an Athens password, you can still view the list here.
QR Codes: The Library has produced QR Codes that you are able to scan to have quick access to the journal using your smart phone.
National Core Content Ejournal Collection: MyJournals
These journals can be accessed from any PC with internet connection with a valid NHS Athens password.
Note: there is a minimum requirement of IE7 and Adobe Reader 9.3 in order to access and download journal articles available online.

RCPsych CPD online
CPD Online is the learning resource for mental health professionals from the Royal College of Psychiatrists. This self-teaching and online learning resource offers a wealth of online learning modules and podcasts covering a vast range of topics. It provides a flexible, interactive way of keeping up to date with progress in mental health, and complement the College's other long-established CPD activities such as Advances in Psychiatric Treatment.
