Basildon & Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust staff

All staff working for Basildon & Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (BTUH) are welcome to join the Library.

Membership Forms are available here or from the library. Alternatively you can register using the online form. NHS ID badge is necessary as proof of employment. You will be given a library card, which will be needed each time you borrow, renew or return items. We ask users to read and abide by the conditions of membership listed on the form.

Most PCs on site at Basildon, including the library PCs, are connected to BTUH network and can be accessed with your username and password. If you wish to use a PC in the Library and you are not yet registered with BTUH IT department, please complete this IT application form.

More about IT...

NHS Professional staff can join the Library with a £50 refundable deposit while they are working at BTUH. They will be able to join the library for 3 month periods, which can be extended if they request it and continue to be employed here. Library membership does not include use of the library computers unless staff have been issued with a valid Trust log-on by IT.
